Bud and Meredith~ Wedding Photography ~ Winding Brook Country Club

"Kiss me with rain on your eyelashes,
Come on, let us sway together,
Under the trees and to hell with thunder."
~Edwin Morgan

Rain on your wedding day is said to be good luck. I like to think all wedding days are lucky so rain is just...extra. But there was a lot more than just luck going on this day!
Rain...BUCKETS of rain!
Almost the entire day was a complete washout. Except...except for the few very specific times we had planned on doing something outdoors. And I don't kid when I say this- the sun even peeked out from behind the clouds just as she walked down the aisle.
So the theme for the day- not rain- but instead glorious fall colors,  beautiful sophisticated details, love. (and the flowers...and those SHOES!!!)

Perhaps a bit "floral heavy" for this post... but the flowers were the most spectacular I've ever seen! Drops of Jupiter knocked it out of the park with the bouquets, the centerpieces and the TREES in the reception room...yes TREES- just wait until you see them!!

Meredith suggested this row of trees along the fairway as a perfect spot to do their "first look". She was right. I could have spent all day here- it was breathtaking!!

And hands down...BEST first look reaction from a groom I've EVER seen!!

And the shoes take the spotlight again..."check these babies out" she says!

It's hard to pick a favorite- but I think it's between the next three- I say it's a tie!

Everyone arrived to the ceremony site in golf carts- so fun!

Just a perfect fall day- the colors on the golf course were unreal!

The reception room was gorgeous. I kept finding different centerpieces and each one was so creative and beautiful. Again major props to Drops of Jupiter for the floral decor!

I told you there were trees!

DJ Brother Lou Roberts from WGNA 107.7 totally rocked! In fact they asked him to stay late...rumor has it the party is still going on

Congratulations Bud and Meredith and thank you for including me in your day! I wish you and your family the best!
