Becky and Matt- Engagement Session- Congress Park, Saratoga Photography

It seemed like just days after I did THIS photo session with her Mom, Becky contacted me to tell me she got engaged! She wanted to book just an engagement session because her fiance, Matt, and she were going to get married in Jamaica on 11-1-11. However within less than 48 hours, not only was I, but my amazing hair and makeup stylist, Brittany, were both booked for the trip as well! (happy dance, happy dance...happy happy happy dance!!)

We still did their engagement session locally though. I always recommend e-sessions prior to the wedding. It gives us a chance to spend some time getting to know each other, to get the nerves calmed, (since it's not every day that you step in front of a camera) and so you can have a variety of photos to chose from to adorne the walls of your home, other than just your wedding photos. Becky and Matt also wanted to do a local e-session so they could incorporate their pooches in the photos as well.

So we met up in Saratoga's Congress Park on a beautiful fall day and I couldn't be happier with how these photos turned out! We started out with the pups, meet Lola and Sophie!

And when Matt took them away I grabbed a few shots of Becky by herself...already glowing and the wedding is still 3 weeks away! And check out that crazy sunflare- very cool!

A little nod to the Jamaican wedding ceremony...

These two really did just laugh, kiss, joke and smile at each other the whole time- they were pros and made my job easy! The perfect way to spend the hour or so in front of the camera- just hanging out being in love!

Check this out...the pose, (the duck- hehe) the attitude,
the beautiful hazy afternoon light...
ah-mazing!

And this...another stunner!

We ended the session with a little game of scrabble. They both had their minds in great places... check out the words they spelled out!

I CAN NOT wait to be there with you guys in Jamaica in a few weeks when you become Mr. and Mrs.!!

These are GORGEOUS! So many creative shots, beautifully composed. I've never seen Matt look SO HAPPY! I can't wait to be in Jamaica either!
