Hall of Springs ~ Saratoga, New York ~ Wedding Photography

I had the pleasure of second shooting for Tara Wiley of Tara Wiley Photography. I was so very excited to work with her, as we had never met in person (thank you Facebook.......) and because the wedding was at the spectacular Hall of Springs in Saratoga. This place is gorgey gorge to say the least!  And talk about gorgeous-- there's nothing I can say about this image that does it justice.
I've been dying to share this with you all!!!

Get your "Pin It" buttons ready and meet Nick and Krissy!

Shall I continue?? Just wait...it gets better!!!

We started the day, as usual, with the bride in the hotel and then I met the guys as they got ready. Turns out I used to work with the groom and his brother a lifetime and a half ago...what a small world!!

A different kind of dress shot for today- Saratoga is all about racing after all!

I had to incorporate a litte bit more of 'Toga in the details!

I'm such a sucker for sweet mother/daughter moments like this during a wedding day. I can't even imagine the emotions that are flowing!! Heaven help me when one of my girls gets ready to walk down the aise!

When we arrived at the Hall of Springs, I will admit I was a bit star-struck. The grounds are perfection, the ballroom is Grand and the energy is hoppin'
(or maybe that's because there was a Brad Paisley concert going on there at the same time!! I still think we should have had him sing to the newlyweds)

I won't even tell you how giddy I was when the house lights dimmed and the uplighting flicked on. If you have this as an option, I highly recommend uplighting your wedding reception  area- it's completely breathtaking!

Formals? Yes. Formals!!
Beautiful backdrop + perfect light + adorbs couple = BAM!

And let me leave you with a few images from another one of my most favorite parts of any wedding day- the first dance.

Congratulations to Nick and Krissy- I was honored to be a part of your day. And thank you again to Tara for bringing me along to help!
