Baby and Family Portrait Session- The Earing Family -

"If a woman has to choose between catching a fly ball and saving an infant's life, she will choose to save the infant's life without even considering if there is a man on base."
 — Dave Barry

This will mark the third time I have had the opportunity to photograph Scott and Christine- the first being on their wedding day, the second was a few months ago when Christine was pregnant (see that blog story HERE) and now that baby Jaxon has made his appearance! Christine and I had a few ideas planned out for this session including a motorcycle, autographed baseballs and a fauxhawk just to name a few!! It was a great variety and ALL BOY!

While mom and dad soothed Jaxon to sleep I grabbed a few of those precious baby details

And then we geared up for some super cuteness of the baseball variety!

Dad is a police officer (one of the few ways I know this couple- my husband and Scott used to work together) and he wanted to incorporate a little law enforcement into the session as well.
As you can see Jaxon didn't sleep for us for all that long...look at those bright baby blues!!

And maybe my favorite prop of the whole session--a Harley Davidson--SO awesome!!

Now we had a little fun with this session and did a few "before and after" shots. I wanted to recreate some of the photos I took in the past. So we revisited the same spot where some of the wedding photos were shot and created this side by side:

And then Christine and I went back to my house to create this "before and after" which I LOVE!!!

And as long as we were there why stop with just one!!??

I have several favorites from this session but honestly, the next one on the left makes me "AWWWWW" right out loud!!!

Congratulations to Scott and Christine,
Jaxon is a sweetheart :)
