Living the Dream

I have this tradition that started, well, when I started nursery school! I would always take a picture on my first day of school.

This is nursery school

Kindergarten, waiting for the bus with my little sister who thought she was going with me.

I couldn't find my first day of High School, but here's the last!!

I even captured my first day of graduate school

Second year of Grad School

And first day of Student Teaching

Just for fun- here's my husbands first day of the Police Academy

So where am I going with all this? What could possibly make me want to share some of the most unflattering, embarrassing photos of me? Well, because I'm adding another beginning photo today.
Today is the first day, of the beginning, of the rest of my photography career!

I recently turned down an interview for my "dream job". I did this for many reasons, but relative to this blog, I wanted to follow my passion. I want to wake up every day and LOVE what I do. I want to CREATE. I want to capture emotion. I want to document life.

So from now on, I'm going to take my photography a bit more seriously. I'm now a boss and an employee. I will do my best to keep the quality of my work high, make my clients happy and LOVE what I do for a living.

Oh and thanks for putting that completely ridiculous picture of me out there for the entire world to see. Love that.
