All day long today, and well, really since the day of this wedding in September I have been dreaming of Disney Princesses....not kidding :-)
Michelle and Rob's wedding was truly a fairytale and you'll see why in every single detail they put into their wedding, in how happy and in love they are, how thoughtful and kind they are to each other and their families, and they not only got engaged in Disney World, they also honeymooned there as well!! The Century House and everyone involved in the day made everything so special and unique!
I'll start this blog off with one of the coolest things I've ever seen at a wedding. Remember in the movie "Tangled" with all those paper lantern were floating over the lake? I had never seen anything like that in person before but Michelle dreamt it up, lit her lantern and made a wish.
The details. My favorite. But these details were everything fit for a princess. The dress...it was actually from the Disney Fairytale Princess line by Alfred Angelo. This particular style, "Rapunzle" of course! It literally looked like a million white butterflies floating behind Michelle all day long!
We started the day at The Taj Mahal Salon where Michelle, her mom and the girls were getting ready for the day.
Then back to the Century House to finish up the preparations and where Michelle got a little surprise from her thougthful groom!
Michelle and Rob opted for a First Look and we were also able to get many of the formal photos done prior to the ceremony.
You know it's true love when your guy hand fans your face so you don't cry off your makeup!!
Oh yea---and please officially meet Rob, the man of the hour! Looking dapper and very "Prince-like" if you ask me, in his tailed jacket!
I love the next shot---Michelle giving me her
"Lady-In-Waiting" pose!!
All I can say about this next shot is "RAWR"!!!
I just love love love the white pillar-lined walkways of the Century House. Perfect for some bride and groom formals!
The ceremony details simply blew me away!
All decked out- beautiful floral arrangements by
And for people who may think that a First Look will take away from the emotion of a ceremony--I've said it time and time again--it's simply not true! Getting caught up in the moment and seeing your groom standing, waiting for you at the end of the aisle will always be emotional, no matter what!
Officially, husband and wife... so lovely!
The Century House and Zachary's Bakery along with Ambiance on the florals did an incredible job with this reception. Mike Garrasi of Music Man Entertainment created a custom play list for Michelle and Rob that included all of their favorite songs--including instrumentals pulled from video games and their favorite movies!! The dance floor was almost too pretty to dance on with Michelle and Rob's custom spotlight, candlelight and fire place, but Mike kept the dance party going all night long!
I need to give a shout out to my lucky lady, Heather Eddings! She was my second shooter for the day and weddings are always more fun when Heather's there! :-)
And let's finish up right where we began. The whole day was simply magical and I hope Michelle and Rob live happily ever after in their own fairytale!!
