Details of a wedding are always my favorite things to photograph. Brides and grooms put so much thought, time and effort into making their wedding day unique and special that each and every detail is special. Chris and Karla's details were no exception and this wedding had such a great vibe! Hospitality, joy, strong family ties and tradition oozed out of every detail in their wedding day. Nothing was overlooked from the purple clover brooch on Karla's bouquet, to the Celtic Knot star atop the wedding cake. The guys in kilts, of course, complete with daggers in their socks (which I have after the fact learned they are called dirks- correct me if I'm wrong) and the cherry on the sundae was the bagpipe player outside of the church welcoming the guests as they arrived.
And when it was all said and done...the party was off the charts! I'm pretty sure the party could have gone on all night long (maybe it did) even after the Century House closed!
I wish Karla and Chris the best- thank you for allowing me to help make memories of the beginning of your married life together!
